Guest guest
Hi Steve, Welcome to the group and to the good life. It's always a joy to hear stories such as yours. It's amazing how effective just the "ON part" (as you called it) can be all by itself, but it sounds like you are ready to begin reducing calories. My only advice would be to do so gradually and to use a good software program like Dr. Walford's DWIDP, at least until you get the hang of monitoring your nutrition under calorie restriction. The hard part, obviously, is maintaining optimal nutrition as you reduce the calories. That's one of the main reasons we need a group like this, because it can be somewhat challenging. One caution, however--and this is my opinion--would be to keep it simple. I've learned that a good CRONie can easily turn every mole hill into a mountain--so remember the KISS method. Also, no question is too stupid or too insignificant, so ask away. The archives are very helpful, but don't hesitate to bring up what might be "an old issue" if it's something has you perplexed. Good luck Suz
