I don't know if there's a Trader Joe's near you, but they have great vegan and

gluten-free health bars for $1.99. Will he take the supps w/juice if you water

down the juice? What if you put a little cocoa in the almond mylk?

My son usually has been drinking almond milk for his milk sub and in it some of

his supps, he's rather picky when it comes to juices and seems to have decided

he only likes choc soy milk, my concern I guess is how should I go about helping

him understand that he needs to have his drinks when I give them, it's like he

knows somethings up finally after 3 months on the GFCF diet, should I worry, the

only real regular success with his supps is his chewable B complex and his

magnesium lotion, did I miss somewhere that has chewable provits, surely I could

find chewable vit C, and what does everyone think of the fact that I was trying

to successfully give him Taurine and could succeed with all his supps if I could

just put them in juice. That couldn't be good though, I just don't know about

him drinking juice most of the day and milk only once or twice, his calcium supp

seems more natural in a milk sub than juice. I'm sorry all this may seem so

trivial, if I could just get

points of view. Another question would be does all this pickiness really tend

to change after chelation, oh I hope so. Ofcourse through all this, we as well

are constantly concerned about his nutrient levels, like he still only eats

peanut butter, eggs, and chicken for protein, plus what luckily gets snuck in

with his organic food bars, I swear if it weren't for them he wouldn't get most

of what he needs in his diet. At almost $3 a bar and for the lack in major

variety it's hard to put them in front of him more than once a day. So before

this turns into so many more unsure thoughts, thanks in advance. <BR>

Tina,

There are many places that have chewable mulitvites. Just make sure

they are free of anything he shouldn't have. I even think Kirkman

has some chewables.

Also, the calcium, you can cook with calcium powder, add it to

something he is going to eat that day. I bake it into food along

with protein powder to make up for what my son does not eat. You

can take a GFCF recipe for a cookie or item he prefers and bake the

protein power and calcium into it. The if he has a serving or two a

day he will get what he needs. My son only takes a few things in his

juice which is limited to two servings a day. The rest we hide or

add to foods. And not to worry, my daughter drank nothing but

chocolate soy milk for a long time. And beleive me they do know

something is up! Clever little ones. I cannot let my son see me make

his foods or add things to them. Except the flaxseed, he thinks that

belongs there because I have always used it.
