Subject: Oxalic Acid & Dietary Variety

Tim, you might be onto something here, although I'm not pushing any panic

buttons just yet.

What is oxalic acid? Look it up here

http://www.slider.com/enc/39000/oxalic_acid.htm It's great for cleaning

rust stains off of stucco and concrete, btw.

After doing a simple search on oxalic acid, I would like to recommend the

information found HERE

http://www.cloudnet.com/~djeans/Asides/OxalicAcid.htm. What this suggests

to me is that VARIETY in food selection is just as important as CRON itself.

When I hear of people cutting calories by living on " just this " or " no

that, " my instinctive bullshit alarms go off loudly in my wee little head.

My diet includes most of the foods mentioned on

http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/Data/Other/oxalic.html, but is

certainly (and fortunately) NOT limited to these. It's something to

consider. Enough is enough of anything, even kale and brocoli.

Oat groats, anybody?

Hugs

Suz
