Source Naturals guar & DMAE cream

I just wanted to report to our connoisseurs of guar gum regarding the Source Naturals guar gum which I just received from VitaminShoppe.com. Even by looking at it, it has a different texture than the guar from Beyond-a-Century. Upon first use of it, it tastes much creamier, and less grainy, than Beyond's product. Initial reaction is that I like it better. It seems to set up faster and with less product than Beyond's, yet it didn't gunk up my blender at all, which I've heard is a problem with some guars (although I never had the issue with Beyond's.)

Now on to "True Confessions of a Very Vain CRONie." (Don't hurt yourselves as you lean closer to your computer.) I also ordered some DMAE cream from VitaminShoppe.com. It is reputed to tighten up the skin, rather like a non-surgical facelift. Admittedly I've only used it once, but I'm quite surprised by the results. The stuff works SO well that I just MIGHT cancel my Oct. 8 consultation with the facelift surgeon! We'll have to see how well the cream continues to work between now and then!
