Guest guest
Bob: I agree that we could have our own cookbook or file of recipes. I've already started a pen and paper list of my favorites and those that I make over and over (many of which are in the archives). I could start the group on the way by putting my own recipes into a folder file and then the committee or support list members could add their own and whatever's in the archives (or we could add them as people post recipes to the group in the future). Fine with me if Robin consents to chair. Right now there are only 3 of you (four if you count me). But I think once the ball gets rolling, perhaps more support list members will chime in . on 7/21/2002 10:45 PM, papilio28570 at papilio28570@... wrote: > there is no > reason why a second and different cookbook can't be assembled here. I would only suggest that each recipe be titled with the author's name like Francesca S's Flavored Guar Puddings or Bob's Oatmeal and avoid adjectives like Low Calorie.... or Best Tasting.... As an appointed member of the Cookbook committee, I vote Robin as committee chairwoman and await the response of other committe members and interested parties as well as Robin's reply. Guest guest
P.S. A good idea to add the name of the person (and perhaps their e-mail address if they don't mind). That way if there are any questions about the recipe, the person that submitted it can be asked directly. Alternately, one could ask questions on the list. ---------- From: Francesca Skelton <fskelton@...> Reply- Date: Sun, 21 Jul 2002 23:07:57 -0400 < > Subject: Re: [ ] Re: cookbook committee Bob: I agree that we could have our own cookbook or file of recipes. Guest guest
Hello Francesca, Sounds good to me. I really believe that the cookbook will grow all by itself over time. I assume that you can edit the file as the site owner because I'm sure that recipes will be added in which errors are found in nutritional content etc as other members crunch the numbers through nutrition software like DWIDP. I'd forget the part about adding e-mail addresses to the recipes. Bob > Bob: I agree that we could have our own cookbook or file of recipes. Guest guest
I really liked Bob's idea to preface each recipe with the person's name. (ie Bob's Oatmeal) Good thinking. Suz
