Last year I started using Nature2 Express for my IG pool. You still use

clorine, but at a very low level. You can find good deals on ebay.

I also replaced the sand in my sand filter with Zeolite last year, it

does a better job.

We use Baquacil in our 36 feet 4 foot diameter pool every year. We used to

use chlorine, but it got to be too much of a hassle to care for it all, and I

hated the bleach smell on everything. Baquacil is alittle more expensive,

then chlorine, but it isn't as much work to care for it and not as much as a

hassle. HTH....take care!!

Best Wishes,

Sue..

This is one of those " inflate the top ring and fill with water pools "

so the filter is one that uses paper cartriges. It is pretty large but

less than an 18ft. pool. We maintained it well last year with very

small amounts of chlorine added once a week and a bit of algicide. It

is just with my son being so high in lead, antimony, aluminum, silver,

tin etc. rigth now, we were trying to reduce any more exposures as

best we could. Is there anything we could use in that type of pool or

does anyone know if the baquacil is safe?

I've heard that bromine is good - may want to double check...
