Hi

It's been great to hear how you son is progressing! I have been

wondering about your selenium since you posted your son's supplement

protocol, and since it hasn't been brought up, I'll do so. Are you

giving your son 200 mcg selenium divided in four doses, or 200 mcg,

four times a day? Not a selenium expert (like Dana and others), but

this seems quite high if it's 800 mcg. Selenium can be toxic in large

amounts. I think the recommendation in Andy's supp protocol is 1-2

mcg per pound, divided by 4. That would put your son at about 300

mcg in the top range, or about 75 mcg per dose.

If I'm wrong, someone please correct me, and if you aren't doing

this, , please ignore it. I'm a worrywart.

take care

René

>>His selineum pill has 200 mcg in it, I will cut that down! Thanks

for catching this. Dana, or anyone else who wants to comment on

selineum dosages, please do so, because I thought that the 800 I was

giving him was regulating his long awake cycles (until the last two

have been 21 hours and 24). I will cut back on the selinium today

until I hear back.

I gave my son 100mcg selenium 2x per day. I did experiment with

increasing it, I think at one point I was up to 100mcg 4x per day. My

son regressed when I reduced the dose too much, until the very end

when he regressed when I gave it, so I was finally able to remove it.
