Iris, MM and others: I'm still wondering why xylitol is the best kept

secret since CRON was discovered.

To newbies: xylitol is an artifical sweetner with all kinds of health

benefits, including anti-bacterial, improvement of dental health and bone

building properties . A week ago I posted the paragraph below. So far no

answers:

MM and others: There is something I fail to understand. Xylitol sounds

like the greatest thing since sliced (whole wheat :-) bread. Why isn't

there more interest and publicity about this sweetner that not only replaces

that " evil " culprit sugar, but enhances health as well? Anyone understand

what the heck is going on here? I'm certainly ready to switch to this

product. As one of the osteopenia sufferers, I'm especially interested in

the bone building effects ..........
