To newbies: xylitol is an artifical sweetner with all kinds of health benefits, including anti-bacterial, improvement of dental health and bone building properties . A week ago I posted the paragraph below. So far no answers: MM and others: There is something I fail to understand. Xylitol sounds like the greatest thing since sliced (whole wheat :-) bread. Why isn't there more interest and publicity about this sweetner that not only replaces that " evil " culprit sugar, but enhances health as well? Anyone understand what the heck is going on here? I'm certainly ready to switch to this product.
