Guest guest
Hi I've just decided to go on a CRON diet. My name is Adam and I'm 21. I read one of Dr. Walford's books 3 or 4 years ago and I've been interested in starting the diet for some time. It's taken me a while to find some discipline, but I'm ready and eager now to start. I've recieved Dr. Walford's diet planner program and I'm in the middle of reading " Beyond the 120 Year Diet. " I'm still a bit overwhelmed by it all, and I could really use some advice on where to start. I'd particularly like to know how I should go about getting any of the various biomarker tests that Dr. Walford suggests. I'm fairly certain that the doctor I usually see will not be of much use, and I'm very interested in keeping track of the diet's effects in the long term, so how can I find a doctor that can help me with this? Also, I've been working out with weights for a while now, and I take protein and creatine supplements. What can be said about the compatibility of CRON with this kind of exercise routine? Thanks for any advice you can give! I'm glad to be a part of this group and I intend to follow its discussions closely. Caloric restriction is of particular interest to me, because reading Dr. Walford's book several years ago had a direct influence on my long term goals and the career I hope to achieve. I'm now a junior in college with a biology major, and my intention is to study genetics in grad school and eventually to be involved in aging research.
