Guest guest
I used them and didn't really see a change, but I know a couple people who use them. One person said that their son barely talked and after taking them for 1 day, said in the morning their son was having a conversation with their daughter. I have thought about getting the ambrotose back in the diet. Guest guest
I had my kids on glyconutrients for about six months and I have taken them for much longer than that. I also know other folks who take them. They help, but do not chelate and do not kill infection. They do strengthen the body. It is a nutritional supplement and it makes a very big difference for some people. I have benefitted enormously from taking them. -- Michele in Limbo (formerly in California) talithamichele@... Guest guest
Reese, Hope all is well in your home. I have a number for an MD who has the whole scoop on glyconutirents. I have not tried this as of yet...however everyone I have talked to about them has had nothing but positives to say about them. If you would like his number contact me privately and I will send it to you. He will answer any questions you have....I found out the last time I spoke with him that they have the " transfer factors " as a part of the product...and you know how I feel about transfer factor. Let me know... blessings, debbie --- rheaton_stormcast <rheaton_stormcast@...> wrote: > Has anyone tried these with their children? Guest guest
My son tried glyconutrients (Ambrotose) for 9 months. We didn't we anything, positive or negative. Guest guest
I hear some positives, but mostly I hear what Beti is saying, nothing one way or another. And anything that expensive should make a pretty big difference. Sometimes I wonder if most of the hype or positives about them isn't drummed up by merchants, just me being suspicious again :-) [ ] Re: Glyconutrients..do they help? Guest guest
From the little that I have read, it seems that there are 8 " necessary " sugars that our bodies need in order to ... produce cells at an adequate level. Most people can make 6 of these and we get the other 2 from a " typical " diet. However, some people are impaired in some form or another and cannot produce, all or some of, the 6.. So.. that my explain why it helps some, but not others. Is there any testing that can determine? Aye, it does sound like an expensive gamble that may or may not help. I wonder if there is at least something to go by. Some kind of " chart " that would help a person determine if they may or may not be " six sugar deficient " . Guest guest
We did try the ambratose and didn't really see much. We tried freeze dried organic aloe and did see improvements in terms of yeast, focus/concentration, and language. I know a lot of people with MS that have been helped by ambratose. For some reason, all the other stuff was too much for my little guy so we just focused on the aloe. There is a book called " miracle sugars " by Rita Elkins that might help you decide if you want to go with ambratose or other products (goji, mushrooms, aloe, etc.) Best regards, Debbie > > Has anyone tried these with their children? Guest guest
We use them and find them helpful. I suppose its like any food supplement if you are deficient and take them you will notice a difference but if you are not deficient or have another deficiency you may not see the same results. And it must be remembered that they are food supplements and anyone who claims they will " cure " something is misrepresenting them. mf > > > > I hear some positives, but mostly I hear what Beti is saying, > nothing one way or another.
