Hi

There is some great tasting Stevia out there, but you have to know

what to look for...I have looked High and low at the different

types and brands of stevia. I found that not all stevia is alike. I

first tried the little packets put out by " Now " .. it took so many of

those little buggers to even hardly make a dent in sweetening Guar,

that it never tasted sweet enough for me, and I gave up on making

it.... I also bought the pure powder in a small container put out by

Sweet Leaf.. and I can tell you that it is Gawd awful. But I found

a great pure stevia put out by Kal. I found it at " Henry's " or " Wild

Oats " here in CA. It is very sweet, no bitter or after taste, I

love it! I am now making some wonderful tasting guar and boy does

the right stevia make a difference. The key lime pie and the pumpkin

pie guar are very yummy with ff yorgurt. I just found a stevia

plant at my local nursery, so I am now growing it too! The leaves

taste very sweet!

I did have trouble with Splenda or I would not have looked at

Stevia. It took a couple of weeks of ingesting it, and then I had

some rather severe digestive problems. I have tried on two different

occasions with the same results. I haven't tried the pure

sucralose, so I don't know if that would have the same effect on

me. Warren has told me that sucralose is inert and I should have no

problems with it.
