For anyone who is still interested in Satietrol, I'd like to report the outcome of all my experiments with the product in recent days.

Things I've tried: (1) Using half a serving of Satietrol 15 minutes before meals, 3X a day. (2) Using a full-serving of Satietrol 15 minutes before meals once, twice and three times a day. (3) Adding Satietrol to a full-meal "shake" (a la Walford's breakfast shake in "Beyond the 120 Year Diet") (4) Using Satietrol alone as an in-between meal snack.

What works best (FOR ME) is following the directions on the product label! (Duh.) I have found that a full serving of Satietrol, three times a day, 15 minutes before meals, keeps me from feeling gnarly-hungry all day and night. I'm not advocating three meals a day, per se, but am finding that the traditional 3 meals a day with no snacks now WORKS for me, just fine. There is an emotional release therein--a simplicity to it. I can eat three times a day, period, without having my mind on food at other times. In short, my appetite has been tamed.

The three servings of Satietrol have 240 calories. For some people, that's a lot. As long as I include the Satietrol in my diet, however, I'm much more capable of foregoing starchy carbs (less grains, less potatoes, etc) and am more than undoing the "damage" of the Satietrol calories. I have a new "peace of mind" that I'm attributing to the Satietrol, which leads me to believe that I was a lot hungrier all the time than I thought I was!

Suz: How many cals a day were you eating when you weren't on the Satietrol

versus now? Or do you mean that the calories are not that much different;

it's just that you don't feel as hungry?
