Death By Kefir?

Good morning CRONies.

After throwing out the first 5 batches per directions, I just tried my first glass of homemade kefir. If you don't hear from me in a few days you'll know I poisoned myself. Not sure if the kefir grains "worked" or if I just drank 8 oz. of sour milk. I refrigerated it overnight and then killed it with sucralose and vanilla before I mustered the courage to drink it. Like yogurt, it's probably an acquired taste, although I admit it wasn't really too bad. Having read all the health claims for kefir, I have high hopes of learning to enjoy the stuff.
