OK everybody, you've convinced me. I'm going to break down and order a Sprout House "kitchen garden kit". Thanks for the encouragement. (Don't know why I'm so intimated by raising sprouts. I can do ORCHIDS...sprouts can't be too hard!)

thanks for link to kefir equipment. I'm going to try that too...even though I really love my yogurt and blueberries.
