Guest guest Posted July 24, 2002 Report Share Posted July 24, 2002 I never felt bad about eating the popcorn b/c of the nutritional status etc., it's just that around 9pm or so, I've spent my 1500K. So eating the it would then add another 200K or so. Not good. Now about carb issues. I talked about this before some time ago but nobody really responded. I'm a true recovering (is there ever truly a cure?) carb-addict. When I was dealing w/a killer recurrent sinus infection, I began to mega dose vit. C (it helped by the way) about 2-3 grams a day. Ever since then my carb cravings have decreased dramatically. I noticed it only days after I began and I do notice that they increase when I miss a few doses. Coincidence? doubt it considering I've been addicted to all that's sweet since I can remember (all my 25yrs) Placebo effect? No, b/c I wasn't taking the vit C for that purpose and therefore didn't expect it. I have no scientific proof, just "testimonial". All I can say is that I'm a new woman b/c of it. Try it. Vit C is water-soluble, so no harm?. I take a time release formula of 1000mg 2-3x(around meal time) a day. It's my local health food store brand.
