Guest guest
If you look at the ingredients in Splenda, you see sucralose is listed third. That is because dextrose and maltodextrin (sugars) are used as fillers. If you are a diabetic or counting carbohydrates (as some on this are doing) it makes a great difference which you use. One packet of Splenda has just under one gram of carbohydrate but if you have a recipe calling for the sweetness of a cup of sugar, you would be adding more than 20 grams of Carb. The problem is that you cannot purchase unadulterated sucralose. They used to sell a liquid form but do not anymore for some unknown reason. If interested, check the files and archives for the ways some of us are able to get it. I have some and find it very easy to use. Changing the subject, I have tried a new (for me) flavored tea from Canada. It is unsweetened and has a very subtle taste. I tried to flavor my tea using the oils but they were too strong for my taste. This company has a long list of flavors and they are wonderful. I also enjoy flavored coffee (not the ones flavored with syrups, but the ones flavored when roasted, i.e. hazelnut, chocolate cinnamon, etc.) The company is Canada Creek Tea Merchants www.cctm.com __________________________________________________ - We Remember 9-11: A tribute to the more than 3,000 lives lost http://dir.remember./tribute
