Guest guest
All: I'm so thrilled with the Lorann flavoring oils that I thought I'd share some possible uses for them - other than flavoring guar that is. I've added the banana to my ChessiePoo Cake recipe (it's a banana nut type cake - see the new recipe folder/file for recipe). It gives it a wonderful more intense flavor. Also the flavorings can be made into syrups and added to oatmeal, yogurt, or to plain water (try sassafras or root beer) for a drink or to plain unflavored seltzer for " soda " . All these need the addition of sucralose of course (except for adding to baked goods) Syrups can also top non sugar/non fat ice cream. Or use over pancakes (see the files for several pancake recipes). If anyone has other ideas to share, I'd love to hear them. I'm having lots of fun with all these new taste sensations. : thanks again for bringing them to the attention of the list.
