Satietrol wonders

We went to the theater today. Why is this of

importance you may rightly

ask? Well, we were slated to go to a

matinee, leaving the house at noonish

and arriving home probably about 5ish. Which

meant I would probably be

getting very hungry around 3 or 3:30 in the

afternoon when I was scheduled

for my usual 150-200 cal snack.

Satietrol to the rescue! I downed a vanilla

from a recent bargain basement

purchase before I had my lunch and then leaving

the house. Result: I didn't

start feeling hungry til almost home when it

was about 4:50. I was able to

hold out til we sat down to dinner about

5:45. So I heartily recommend its'

use for such occasions. Another good use

might be just before you're about

to go to a social event where they'll be

non-CRONIE food. Although I

usually partake at such social occasions (trying

to keep it to small

portions), the satietrol may help insure that I

don't overindulge.

Hi Dennis: Satietrol was " discovered " by member Suzi Cart. We have it in

the files under " Member's Recipes " , and then " Where to get Stuff " . We also

have the latest sales listed under " links " , thanks to member Iris

Ailin-Pyzik. If you go to the links, let us know if the sales are still

ongoing. Or if you discover new ones, again let us know.

It's a harmless powder which is mixed with water, that mimics the natural

feeling of fullness that you get after a meal. Many of our member use it.

I find it delicious btw. Leaving it overnight or for a few hours in the

fridge enhances the flavor.

To follow the former entire discussion on Satietrol, enter that word in the

search box on the home page.

Yes, this is exactly what Satietrol is purported to do. I've experimented taking the stuff between meals as a "snack," but find it really works best exactly as directed, 15 minutes prior to a regular meal. Then I eat less at the meal and don't find myself as likely to NEED a snack later on. It's pretty amazing stuff.
