Guest guest
Hi everyone, With all the concern about osteo (me included !!) why not consider useing xylitol as a sweetener? It has been shown to improve bone density as well as inhibiting injurious bacteria in the stomach such as strep and h.pylori (which we know causes ulcers and later, cancer). Xylitol was discovered by the Finnish and comes from their birch trees, thus, completely natural. They give it to kids at school in gum and it not only reduces cavities but also prevents lots of illness in the winter. I got a supply at www.beyondacentury.com as it (surprisingly) isn't readily available here in Europe. I find it tastes just like sugar, which I dropped years ago. In fact I've completely lost my desire for sweet tastes, so to get the xylitol for bones and as antibacterial, I'm having to retrain myself. perverse, eh? ;-} MM _________________________________________________________________ Join the world’s largest e-mail service with MSN Hotmail. http://www.hotmail.com
