Guest guest
Well, we tried for a meeting and two of us made it. One person walked to the meeting location and another drove 1.5 hours! Lessons for the rest of those planning meetings: Please exchange phone numbers. A last minute cancellation was left to email and several decided to reschedule. If it wasn't for a late phone call via cell phone,(I had to leave before the cancellation) it would have been really frustrating. Pick a central location with good access to parking and access from interstates. Downtown Chicago was busy and I was SOOO lucky to get a parking spot. The restaurant was really busy. Since I didn't know who I was meeting, I had to wait outside holding a paper with "CR" on it. I did it inconspiciously so I didn't feel like a goof ;-). Suzzane spotted me after about 10 minutes. She was inside and I was outside. All in all, we chatted for about an hour. She is looking at CR and I have been practicing cr for a year. She asked me alot of questions about how I practice and I shared a lot of the nuts and bolts, from food preparation, software, daily routines and such. I know that meeting others gives confidence to your own program. We all our pioneers in a sense. I am happy for those few that went before me.
