Guest guest
Hello all, I write to defend Warren who is flogging it out all by himself. He is one of the most valued and inspirational contributors to the CR groups and is undeniably honest in his dealings with all. That he got behind in his orders is forgiveable, even if he did cash some checks first. I don't consider that sinful, just a small business trying to stay solvent. Happens all the time. I'd never complain if some of my collegues paid late (they often do) as I know who I am going to bat for. I think Warren, of all people, deserves a bit of slack. The benefit (and there are many benefits!) of the doubt. All entrepreneurs make mistakes. That cocoa was a tad more expensive in the Kroger is forgiveable. Just write him before he bought that humonguous supply. Did anyone do that when there was the chance? He told us of his intentions before buying. Not more than a year ago the same Warren was enthusiastically promoting sprouting and actually said that he'd reimburse anyone who bought a certain sprouter their money back if they didn't like it. For any reason. No, he didn't sell the sprouters. He was just promoting them by word of mouth as they worked well and he thought it'd get more cronies to eat nutritious sprouts. Very idealistic in my book. Now, if he'd make that sort of offer to me, a quasi lurker, and others never met, I would certainly pitch and go to bat for him. Guest guest
Congratulations on your wonderful loss, Warren. I, too, am one of those that basis my life on my weight. I went shopping last night with a friend and kept finding myself not looking at the dark colors and the plain things. I kept going for the wonderful colors and things with wonderful style and pazaz! My real personality was coming through with every rack that we looked at. My friend is still working on some issues of how much she has really lost. She still can't believe that she is only a size bigger than me. I can't wait to tell her that we can share tops. Bottoms won't work since she is several inches taller than me. She could just use mine as Capri pants. We're both at the stage of OMG, TURN THE HEAT ON, PLEASE! Have you gotten there yet? I hope that when you hit your plateau that you continue to have this wonderful an attitude. It does get hard, my friend when you don't see changes in the scales and you don't see inches changing on the measuring tape. Patience and fortitude are the survival keys during this tough time. Best wishes and take care in your new life! S. Dunlap Cakedreams@... Registered Nurse MGB on 2/22/02 Weight: 288 Now: 193 Dr. Rutledge Knowledge is power! Guest guest
Hi Warren, You asked do you have low blood sugar? Have you checked your sugar when you feel bad? I myself have hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) and have " fainted " several times. No one was there to witness what really happen so I do not know if I actually had seizures or not. However, Check your glucose levels often-that way you can rule out hypoglycemia. If you are hypoglycemic you just have to be sure to maintain blood glucose levels properly by eating small meals, say 6x a day instead of the usual large meals 3x a day. What it sounds like to me is that you are experiencing simple partial seizures (the " butterflies " in the belly are auras that stay focalized. The blackout spells are as you say, complex partials. The only thing that concerns me is 1 hr is an awfully long seizure. I could see if you had a complex partial seizure that lasted 5 min and it took you that long to recuperate (temporal lobe seizures could be responsible for this-it destroyes the memory for a given time) but the actual seizure lasting an entire hour is bizarre. I am in agreance that you may be a good candidate for surgery. If it is indeed seizures unrelated to hypoglycemia. Your first step is to check your blood sugars often to rule it out. Hope this helps, God bless, Tracey
