SLOW RELEASE??????????????? Isn't that the ONE thing you're NOT supposed to take?????

From the website:

> IMPORTANT: Make sure to specify that you do NOT want LDN in a slow-release form.

Reports have been received from patients that their pharmacies have been supplying a slow-release form of naltrexone. Pharmacies should be instructed NOT to provide LDN in an "SR" or slow-release or timed-release form. Unless the low dose of naltrexone is in an unaltered form, which permits it to reach a prompt "spike" in the blood stream, its therapeutic effects may be inhibited.

Have you considered that the antibiotic itself is the cause: Have you ever taken the particular antibiotic before? Have you read the side effects info on the drug from the pharmacy, and do you have any allergies? There may be something you take or ingest that is contraindicated for that antibiotic.

Talk to your pharmacist first, but do not conceal information from your doctor. He works for you: if you are unhappy with his guidance or he refuses to treat you in the fashion you choose (within medically prudent standards, of course) , then find someone who will. Keeping info from your treating physician is dangerous.johnathin <johnqkarin2@...> wrote:

Since taking both LDN and Antibiotics i have been expieriencing dizzyness/major spasticity/and my double vision is bad enough to cause severe headaches. I'm not going to pretend i've never had these problems, but they just 'feel ' different this time. My doctor tells me that LDN shouldn't 'Theoretically' do anything for me. So, as you might've guessed, i can't contact him or he may discontinue the prescription. I am not sure if there is a link. Does anyone have any ideas? I am taking one 4.5 MG (slow release) at bedtime. Thanks.
