Mom's Fibromyalgia (in response to Mymisspriss)

Mymisspriss. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

My Mom has been suffering with Fibromyalgia for years. Sometimes she

just feels like she can't go on. It is such a debilitating pain. It

took her years to find a doctor that would even acknowledge her

illness.

I have the computer and found Naltraxone as well as the group.

Mom was up for anything. She took printouts I gave her to her doctor

and demanded he write her a prescription. She can be very feisty. He

did. It was for 4.5 mg. Then we found a pharmacy that would

compound it for her. For some reason they made 2.5 mg. capsules. (I

don't understand that). It is not however the time-release kind,

which is good, I believe. She has been on this for 1 week. Last night

she opened a capsule on glass and using a razor blade she divided one

into quarters. So now she is taking a 2.5 mg cap, plus 1/4 of another

for a total of 3-1/8 mg.

My questions to you are:

1. How long did it take you to start feeling results on LDN?

2. How long did it take using 4.5 mg to feel " jittery " ?

It will be a real miracle for my Mom if this works.
