Guest guest
HI PAT, YES, I AGREE WITH JOYCE...I CERTAINLY CAN'T TELL YOU WHAT TO DO WITH THE AVONEX....I WILL JUST TELL YOU WHAT I DID WITH IT.....THREW IT OUT!! THE SIDE EFFECTS WERE AWFUL...AND THEN MY NEURO TALKED ME INTO COPAXONE...AND I TRIED THAT FOR ALMOST A YEAR. MY MS JUST KEPT PROGRESSING SLOWLY...SO I GOT OFF OF THAT TOO. IT WASN'T UNTILL I STARTED TAKING LDN, THAT I ACTUALLY FELT BETTER...I FELT, FOR THE 1ST TIME, THAT I WAS DOING THE RIGHT THING FOR MY MS AND FOR MY WHOLE SELF. I AM NOT SAYING THAT THE AVONEX AND COPAXONE DIDN'T SLOW THE PROGRESSION, IT MAY HAVE, BUT AT WHAT PRICE?? I 'VE HAD MS FOR ABOUT 35 YRS NOW, AND TRUELY FEEL IN MY HEART, THAT LDN IS THE ANSWER TO REGULATE OUR IMMUNE SYSTEMS, WHICH IN TURN STOPS THE ATTACKS AND THUS STOPS THE PROGRESSION. AT THE SAME TIME WE FEEL BETTER, STRONGER AND SOME SYMPTOMS ACTUALLY GO AWAY. WE STILL HAVE MS. BUT LDN MAKES IT EASIER TO LIVE WITH. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU AND I WISH YOU WELL. WELCOME TO OUR GROUP!
