Guest guest
Due to the time and expense of obtaining LDN from a Compounding Pharmacy, my GP perscribed Naltrexone (50mg Tab). This I will crush in my mortar pedestal, then mixing with 500ml steril water, will give me 50mg / 500ml 1mg / 10ml * 3 = 3mg/30ml or 1 ounce of solution for a 3mg dose. This ratiocan then be easily be used to adjust dose.
Guest guest
the problem with doing it this way is that if you happen to " hit " on the right dose, you may never be able to replicate it. Do yourself a favor and use a pharmacist who is familiar with making up whatever dose your MD advises. Give Steele at Fairview Compound Center a call @ 800-882-1377. He is great to talk to and a tremendous help in all ways. He will ship anywhere (he is in PA). Obviously, your MD will have to phone in the prescription. Good luck. BTW, I talked with him this morning and he advises doing a monthly inventory of your progress on LDN which I will be doing and after 3 months either adjusting the dosage up or down OR continuing per your individual success. He mentioned that everyone reacts differently to this and every drug so be patient but diligent/watchful too.
