Guest guest
Does anyone know what Dr. Bihari says about this? Should we be taking LDN between 9pm and 3am regardless of the hours we live on? I work 12-8, I sleep from 7-11PM, I was planning on taking it 6PM just before I'm ready to go to sleep, or maybe 5PM when I can get to sleep a bit earlier. Or should I be taking LDN at midnight, regardless of whether I'm going to sleep at 1am (weekends/nights off), or just waking up to start " my day " ? I'm a bit confused about it now. I happen to be on day hours this week, so I'm taking it between midnight and 3am when I get ready for sleep. I'm in NYC, but I have Russian blood... so 6PM NY time is 1AM in Minsk. Does that work? LDN doesn't " work while you sleep " ? It works based on the circadian rhythm of my day working neighbors regardless of the hours I keep??? ----- Original Message ----- From: " G. Guest guest
I believe the reasons you take it at night are twofold: 1. it is blocking endophin uptake so you don't " feel yourself " . 2. your pituitary and adrenals make endorphins in greater supply in response, and this typically takes place in the middle of the night. So based on your circadian rhythem, that could be 2am or 2pm! depends on your schedule. Hope this makes sense. Guest guest
Hi there, In fact, I know exactly what Dr Bihari says about it, as I asked him the very same question. It is, in fact, based on the dawn cycle, NOT any other rhythm. Diurnal or nocturnal people should take it in the same time window. He says people who work the night shift generally take it at midnight. Hope that helps. All my best, Rabbit ----- Original Message ----- From: G. Guest guest
So this 9pm to 3am has to do with the planetary rotation cycle, and not the individual's circadian rhythm cycle? It just doesn't make sense to me.. I like to have things make sense. A day person would be taking it at midnight and going to sleep.... when I go back to working 12-8am, I would be taking it when I wake up and have 19 hours ahead of me before I sleep again. ----- Original Message ----- From: Rabbit LarryGC ; G.
