Guest guest
Mr. Harding wrote that 70 MS patients were treated with a 98% response rate toward positive results. I am wondering if this is a statistic directly from the researcher with whom you spoke, or is this one of Bihari's stats? Thanks very much for your very informative posts. J... Guest guest
it's from the LDN website, so you are right that it is not a published stat but something on the site, http://www.low dose naltrexone.org/ldn_and_ms.htm I spoke via email with the lead researcher on MS here at MI last night after having asked him about LDN and MS. He said " LDN is a joke " -- he didn't see how HIV patients with a depressed immune system and MS patients with an overactive immune system could benefit from the same treatment. OK, I respect his opinion, but if the thought is to *rebalance* the immune system and get it working properly again, why NOT LDN? I don't know, I'm not a neuro scientist, but it makes sense to me. You all probably know there is a lot of skepticism out there regarding LDN, but I say the proof is in the pudding, and if people are seeing results from it, then that is the bottom line and the reason I myself am going to try it rather than steroids/chemo we KNOW does NOT work.
