Guest guest
Hi Johanne. I had to call Dr. Bihari because my local neuro would not give me a prescription for LDN. I had to make an appointment for a phone consultation and have my records regarding my mS diagnosis sent to him. The phone consultation lasted 1 1/2 hours and cost $450. He then sent a prescription to a compounding pharmacy in NY, which sent me the LDN in the mail. The prescription includes refills for 6 months. I will need to have another, shorter, consultation with Dr. Bihari after 6 months to get another 6 month prescription. After that I will only need to contact him once/year. He told me to continue to visit my local neurologist, so he is not " managing " my MS beyond the LDN. I am hoping that I will be able to find a doctor here who will prescribe it for me as it is hard to have a " long distance " relationship with a doctor. I hope this information helps.
