Guest guest
Hi there...how interesting to hear this. I went and did a google search and sure enough...there it is. Are you saying that there are no compounding pharmacies that would be able to compound the Antaxone into a 4.5mg dose for you? We here in the states are having it prescribed and compounded even though we are not alcoholics or drug dependent. You might be able to get your prescription filled here and shipped over there? Not sure but I think that the Apothecure might ship all over the world. If you like I will call and verifiy this. Thanks so much for sharing this info...very interesting indeed. Guest guest
Hi Joyce, I never asked to a pharmacy to have Antaxone compounded into 4.5mg. I am not suffering of MS myself but I am trying to help to find the best therapy for my girlfriend that has been recently diagnosed with MS. We are considering every possibility starting with the ABCs and now waiting for a further consultation with another doctor to have a second opinion. In the meantime, following some people's suggestions, she already tried a few times cannabis to see if it could easier her symptoms but we where unsatisfied. At that point I suggested trying to get and use LDN to see if we could get any encouraging results. I can tell you that it's far easier to get hold of some marijuana than Naltrexone. However I have finally managed to order it at the 10mg pcs and it's now on its way. How does it look like? Do you think it would be difficult to split it in a bit less than half to make 4.5 mg? Spitting the 10mg into three parts I could also get 3.3mg that, as far as understand, it is a good amount to start off...
Guest guest
Hi there Massimo, I'm pretty sure that when I called the Apothecure the gentleman told me that they ship all over the world but their phone number is (800) 969-6601. I am not surprised that you are getting frustrated with trying to obtain the Naltrexone. I felt the same way at first. Have you been trying to get it from a neurologist. That is the biggest problem cuz they are not very helpful to do this for you. All you need is any medical doctor to give you that prescription. Print out all the documentation and present it to a doctor who is willing to help you. I went to the www.lef.org site and clicked on the innovative doctors link in the left hand column and found one that way. He is an endocronologist and I think that most that are listed as innovative doctors are a bit more receptive to alternative medicines. The doctor that I found was smart enough to realize that Naltrexone taken in such a low dose is absolutely harmless. He said it was almost homeopathic it was so low dose. I don't think that 4.5mg would be a problem for your girlfriend at all. I am 5'5 " and about 125 pounds and I am taking it at 4.5mg myself. This is such a low dose..not to worry about it and your girlfriends size. Once you have the presciption, it can be faxed to a compounder who should be able to ship it to Italy. Perhaps you have compounders there in Italy? If you cannot find a doctor to prescribe the LDN for you, you should be able to get a phone consult with Dr. Bihari. That will cost more but I hear he is very helpful and knowledgable about all this...well worth the money actually. Ok I just called the Apothecure and left a message asking if they would ship to Italy. Will have to wait until they call me back. Good luck to you Massimo.
