Guest guest
Thanks Liz, Yes, it is good to FINALLY, find a combination of things that my work for my body. The breathing definitely caused me to become healthier and less hungry. It also helped my body to be less satisfied with junk food and caused me to research, research, research, other eating programs, vitamins, herbs, etc. I like the Advanced BodyFlex tape, because it is a very fast workout. She just works out, no talking as she is doing it. She does all the explaining of how and what is coming up before she starts the 9 minute countdown clock. Then she works out. She has dubbed suggestions on later so that you still get the suggestions, but she is not giving them to you as she is working out. I like that better. It is exactly the same positions as on the original tape though. She just changed the breath. It seems to be the exact same breath as is posted on the http://theskippedbreath.com website though. I actually took this breath and did the same concept with the LifeLift breath. It is much gentler on the throat. I like Rashelles positions better too. My muscles get a much better workout with the #2 tape or the leg positions on the #1 tape than on the BodyFlex tapes. I just do the Advanced tape to get my pulse up, I haven't gotten to the point where I can push myself to go through a routine as fast without a tape, so, it is actually kind of background noise to keep me moving quickly. I then do the LifeLift tapes for a workout. I hope that makes sense. Sincerely,Karmahttp://loaves-n-fishes.com 25% Savings on Name Brand Vitamins and Food Supplements! Its niceto have someone on the list that knows about herbs an such. I've had aninterest in herbs and alternative medicine for a while now. If I had themoney I would take some courses in it. Well maybe someday.Do you like The adv. BF tape? I've been thinking about ordering it. Howis it different from the original BF tape?I'm glad the cleanses are helping you to get your body back. It's like analien took it, and the cleanses are bringing it back to you. LOLHave a great day!Love, Liz

Guest guest
Francesca, Anti-war isn't anti-American. It's off topic, but so was the question, and I should think most of my American friends would be quite offended if someone thought their identity was entirely (or even minutely) contained in war-making, so the conflation of anti-war with anti-Americanism is pretty off (unless you mean American=war). For instance, can I be opposed to Hitler and not be anti-German? Anti-Sharon without being an anti-Semite? Why not anti-Bush? " You're either with us or against us " makes the world full of 'anti-Americans' and quashes any possibility of a pluralist, democratic, or civil society (all notions that most Americans I know would rather associate themselves with). Either we talk politics on this list or we don't -- since most know more about nutrition than they do history or social interaction, I'd suggest we still to the latter. The relationship between mortality salience and derogation of perceived difference paired with increased need for self-esteem via social identification may be something a little closer to our collective efforts to die later rather than sooner, but again, I don't think we intend to go there... Guest guest
: thanks for your reply. I wasn't trying to imply that anti-war is anti-American. Just trying to get some of the members out of the woodwork and figured that war was on their minds. You are correct that this is way off topic and I thank you for keeping us on track. on 4/6/2003 2:35 AM, Gifford at gifford@... wrote: > Francesca, > > Anti-war isn't anti-American. Guest guest
Hi Jo, Only one answer is obvious…everyone here is enjoying the good time is having with LDN. In fact, if there are no questions, means everyone is happy and has no problems. However, as you can see from the number of replays to this stormy boy (bdw, where is he coming from???), we are always here, skipping no messages, ready to help others the best we can mostly…. I have not even received Zavie's reminder for Tuesday chat. I am receiving only one or two emails a day. I remember you because you were diagnosed at almost the same time as me, and you also used a CaringBridge site, and I wrote a message in your Guest Book. It meant a lot to me to find another woman with CML after (at that time) mostly finding information saying CML affected men in their late 60's and older. I have learned a lot since those early days, and now help young people with CML deal with workplace discrimination issues.
