Just got my naltrexone, but it's SR!!!!!

Hello,

I have lupus, and I got my doctor to prescribe me 3 mg of

naltrexone. I recieved the slow-release version, however. First, is

it really that bad to take the SR version? Second, how can I take it

to make it absorbed more quickly? Could I open the capsul into my

mouth? I tried this last night and it just got stuck in my teeth.

Could I just open the capsule and swallow both halves? Whould it

still be SR if the capsule was opened? How long should I expect to

wait before seeing results?
