Guest guest
Well, it's certainly helping me get a mental stress test workout! I was banned from MSWatch 5/19, and apparently banned from MSWorld just today some time. All my posts are still there, it just says I'm not a registered user any more. Nobody from MSWorld ever said anything, and so far haven't answered my query. If the administrators only work "days" I guess I won't know anything until 7/21 when I get home. Seems to be a bit CATCH 22 with LDN. When you start LDN, you start to alienate the rest of the world except for others who take LDN or may be interested in finding out more about it. Few things upset me nowadays... but being banned from groups and websites after being on the NET for TEN YEARS NOW is very upsetting. I've been communicating via modem since 1978! My reputation is being tarnished because of this LDN. I don't go around bringing up LDN, but I mention it and if someone asks, am I supposed to just IGNORE them? I seem to get grief for stating what it's done for me. I like the way Joyce says we could just say "well, I got mine"... which many of us choose not to just accept and move on.. but it seems to be more and more NOT my choice. It puts me in a bad position. Since seeing the effects of LDN, I have nothing else to talk about, about MS, other than what it's done for me. I try NOT to talk against taking 13 side effect laden pills a day, or liver killing ABRs or skin necrosis nail polish remover C, I can't say this and I can't say that... but I can't even talk about LDN anywhere else either. I may not have a choice but to stick with MSWatchers, this group, and Spotlight_LDN. It seems like people who are doing LDN or are interested in it are a different type of people, but I'll keep my opinion on that matter to myself. I lost most all hope in life before LDN, and now that I have it back, I'm losing hope again. I'll have 2 weeks away to think about it some more, but I think I'm coming to the end of my rope. In the grand scheme of things, MSWatch and MSWorld have potentially affected many lives. It's very sad, but there comes a time when you have to say GOOD LUCK TO THEM and worry about yourself. Well, "I got mine" and I'm taking it on the road again. Que sera, sera. ----- Original Message ----- From: Guy Du Monte LarryGC Cc: low dose naltrexone Sent: Friday, July 11, 2003 20:58 Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] Neuro visit Larry, Sounds like the LDN is working for you too. I thank god daily for finding LDN. Its great to hear that others are experiencing the same benefits I have. I sincerly think we are on to something great here. Enjoy your camping trips, and your new lease on life......................................... Guy aka blueswedeLarryGC <larrygc@...> wrote: Went to my neuro for my 3 month LDN follow up visit. I don't think I ever saw this guy smile before. He seemed genuinely impressed. I wanted him to check me out first, and then tell him everything, but he wanted to hear things up front. He said I still had stiffness and left side weakness. I asked him to call the pharmacy to tell them it was ok to fill more than one month at a time for me, but he refused, he said "anyone can call them" and gave me a new script for X60 so I can get 2 months at a time. I asked Skip about that comment, and he said he ALWAYS calls back the office # that's on the script, so not "anyone" can just call and say it's "OK". Catch 22. My first of 3 camping trips was great. We had what I figured we'd get.. high heat, thunder storms and lots of mosquitos. We have a 12X14 screen tent for when they come out in force. With the heat, there was one day that I had to go into the van and start up the engine for some a/c while I spent some time in it during the day, but other than that, no problems. The 3 times it rained I didn't get too wet, but today when I stopped for gas I got very wet.. but no spasms from the cold water hitting me. Last summer when I was out in some rain my whole body went into chill mode as if it were 20 below zero outside. I'm finishing up my 12-8 work and then coming back in for 6pm Thu til 11am Fri, and then heading back up Saturday, so I'll be off the computer again until 7/21. I'll be back home overnight next Tuesday to change cars and gear, but may not get a chance to catch up on the groups. This is going to be a fast month, I can tell! Hope everyone is doing well
