Guest guest
Does anyone know how I can get a prescription for LDN in/around Everett, WA. Seems that every Dr I contact wants to push the ABC drugs or has never heard of LDN and won't have me on it. Any help you have to offer would be appreciated! Guest guest
Dr. Sullivan prescribed it for me after a 22 minute phone interview (@$4/min, I think I paid him somewhere around $90). Plus he wants me to take a Heavy Metals Toxicity test which I have received and will do probably this weekend (a Mother's Day present of sorts). contact info: Dr. Sullivan, somewhere outside of burg, 717-697-5050. Also we ended up using Fairview Compound Center w/ peter steele who is a pharmacist 800-882-1377 who is VERY familiar with making up prescripts for this, although you may find it cheaper somewhere else (I paid $121 for 100 day supply). I wanted to go with someone who knew about this drug, recommended it, and knew what they were doing... Good luck, I'm very happy to be trying this as I have PP-MS and hence no drugs are approved for treatment anyway -- thank God! as I might be tempted to try one. I don't like feeling like I have the flu every week which I hear is a side effect of the interferon-based drugs. Get this: a second opinion neuro wanted to try massive amounts of steroids on me TO SEE IF THAT WOULD CHANGE MY DIAGNOSIS to RR-MS, seems like Russian Roulette to me. I didn't do it, nor have I done any drugs outside of LDN and some supplements so far. I feel great, but I am also realistic in that I know it *could* get worse. All my appendages are crossed ;-) I take 3mg/day. On Thursday, May 8, 2003, at 12:47 PM, Garrett wrote: > Does anyone know how I can get a prescription for LDN in/around > Everett, WA. Guest guest
I get my LDN in capsule form. That (I think) is the best in case you need to cut your dose. Then you just need to open the capsule and pour a little out. My two cents worth says that you are better off with a compounding pharmacy that has worked with LDN before I get mine from NY and I live in Mass. They send it to me at no charge. I get it from Irmat Pharmacy. Dr. Bihari highly recommends them. Irmat is listed in the LDN website. Wishing you a lot of luck. My neuro didn't want to write me a script. She is 'up with things' but not totally apparently. Just because she isn't doesn't mean that I don't want to be. Keep on doing your best dude!!! Guest guest
- I feel your pain. Neuros think they are smarter than everyone else, to bad they can't feel our pain. I finally got my LDN from a D.O. doctor, I think they are alittle more open minded than others. Keep fighting.
Guest guest
it's a narcotic - ANTAGONIST - meaning it *blocks* narcotics... sheez if he/she gets that wrong, find another doc.
