That's interesting because I've wondered myself about how the timing of when you take LDN impacts the way you feel in the morning. I'm in bed usually by 10:00 since I have to get up really early. I take LDN about 9:30 every night. But, I have to admit something and hopefully I'm not the only one. I take my LDN and other things that I have to take. Then 10 minutes later, I can't remember if I really took it! Then, I worry for 15 minutes about whether I should take another one in case I didn't take it!

I too, have had that short term memory worry. I think that one has nothing

to do with the MS, just the being human part. If I can stop being human,

that would go away. (does anyone know of a personal anti-humanity drug?)

:)

My solution to the, " did I really take it " , is easy. When I take my good

night pill, I set my alarm clock at the same time!

That's really interesting - I've been varying the time I take mine and haven't really noticed a difference. I reckon I've always taken it between 9 and 11 though, so perhaps I'll try later tonight!

Connie, yes I very much have that problem of remembering if I've done something. The problem is that pill taking (or other mundane things, like turning the oven off), just don't stick in your mind.

The way I get round this is to do something stupid when I take my pills (and when I turn the oven off!;) For example, I'll take my pill and make a loud "wheeeee" noise. Or "Beep". or wave my arm around. Or imagine an elephant crashing into my living room.

I know I know! You're all thinking I'm mad now. Trust me, this really works! Just do anything "unusual" that will stick in your short term memory longer than just taking the pill. It's a great memory technique that I've been using for years.

Take care all

Matt.

Hi all. Was reading the messages about forgetting to take the pill or not

remembering whether you had. I don't even leave it to chance. What I do is

just place my pill in a certain place every night. Therefore, I cannot

forget to take it. If I do forget to take it...which does happen sometimes.

I see it there and know that I forgot. Joyce.

I notice that I have been feeling rather tense in the morning after taking

the LDN the night before. I also get a crampy stomach feeling every

morning too that usually goes away after a few minutes. But the tension

does stay with me for a few hours. Anyone else get that?

I am on 3 mg so I don't plan on lowering the dose, I guess I'll just ride

it out.

Hi ,

I try to take my LDN between 11:00 and midnight. I usually fall asleep on

my chair and when I wake up to go to bed, it is usually around that time.

But I have taken it even later. Never noticed any changes. That is just me

though.

After supper I put my LDN pill in a small dish and bring it into the living

room with a bottle of water. After dozing off, I wake up and take the pill.

If the dish is empty I took it. I admit that sometimes i have to look into

the dish and see if it is gone.

Last night I set my alarm to midnight and took my LDN then. The easy thing

about using the alarm is there is no question about, did I take it yet/

already taken.
