Guest guest
Hi all. I too have problems forgetting whether I've taken my pills. So I bought 2 pill cases that have a different compartment for each day. They are different colors and sizes so I won't get them mixed up. The yellow case is my morning pills (yellow=sun) and the blue case is my evening pills (blue=dusk). That worked great till I started forgetting what day it was!! Last week I took my Wednesday pills on Sunday (or vise versa, I can't remember which right now) and that really got me confused. It took a while to straighten it all out! Before I was diagnosed with ms a funny thing happened concerning my memory. My husband and I only had one car so we took turns taking and picking up each other to/from work. One time he came to pick me up and came in the building through one door as I went out another door. I saw the car and got in and drove home. He saw me driving out the driveway and yelled to me, but I didn't hear him so just kept driving. He started walking down the street, expecting me to realize what had happened and come back. When I got home I saw all the lights on in the house and the tv still on...but no husband! I was worried something had happened to him. I started calling our friends and finally I called my son who lived across town. I wanted him to come over to check the backyard as I was beginning to worry my husband might have had a heart attack or something and it was so dark outside I didn't want to search for him alone. All in all about 45min-1hour went by. Finally, my husband walks in the front door, cheeks all red from having walked 2 1/2 miles in 40 degree weather! And I said, " Where in the ---- have you been!? " I was so mad that he would go out and not leave me a note or anything! Plus he left all the lights and tv on and was wasting electricity! He just stood there, speechless! Finally he said, in a very tender voice, which startled me because I was so mad at him, " Don't you remember I took you to work today? " I replied, " Yeah, so what's that got to do with it? " He just kept staring a me. Finally it sunk in! Luckily he's a good guy, so we both started laughing till we cried. Hope that story brings a smile to your faces, too. I loved all your suggestions , Matt & Joyce for remembering stuff! Especially yours Matt---might as well have some fun! God Bless!
