Hi Phil

I have PP type of MS dxed about 3 1/2 yrs ago. I have been doing HBO once a week for about two years. I do not notice any difference since being on it but my wife insists that if I miss one or two sessions she can see a big difference in my walking ability. The sessions I attend are run by ourselves in local unit set up by a local MS Self Help charity.

When starting out you try and fit the first twenty sessions in as quickly as possible then drop to a maintenance level of once per week. Some people also have more than one session per week if they are having a relapse. There is a link below to the main charity for MS sufferers self help association below.

One thing of interest is we have also helped treat burns, leg ulcers and sports injuries in the last few years. Burns and ulcer sufferers have been referred by local hospital which is the main burn and plastic surgery unit for Wales. Sports injuries have been sent by the club doctors or physios and all have said the injuries have healed quicker with HBO sessions. One leg ulcer sufferer who had diabetes was able to save his lower leg by using HBO, as he was due to have the leg amputated for gangrene and severe ulcers but after HBO he only has a few toes removed for the ganger and lower leg and foot were saved.

Yes

I have done hyperbaric.

Its really good for MS. It is what they use to help people like

divers. Its a compression chamber and helps our cells oxygenate. It

will really make you feel good. I know many people doing it too.

First time your system might get tired cause its not used to so much

oxygen. But then you are going to love it. It also really helps heal

anything like surgery or bones or muscles.

Hope this helps.
