Guest guest
It might be that I am over doing it a little because I am doing physical therapy three times a week and am trying to do it at home too. I have so many appointments lately that I have to keep on going just to get my regular stuff done. thank you for your input. Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Just to let you know that for two days I was experiencing some serious fatigue that i never had before LDN. Last night I was going to cut my LDN dosage lower but for some reason I kept it the same (about 3.75). today I feel great again. Full of energy. so it can't be the LDN. My next guess is the diet that I am on. I am on the Dr. Roy swank diet. My husband says that I don't eat enough. I am really not hungry any more. I am seeing a nutritionalist next week and hope that he can put me on a good group of supplements. I am on some now but only the basic ones. Just thought that I would let you all know. Guest guest
thanks for that update Marie, I didn't think it was LDN-related. Who knows with this stuff sometimes? I don't have much of an appetite these days either but I am doing a smoothie every morning with lots of good stuff in it (sunflower oil, nutritional yeast, active yogurt, ashwaganda extract, flax seed oil, OJ, soy milk, and wheat germ) along with about 25 supplements - it keeps me pretty much all day! my energy level is good, but when I get tired, I take 10 m naps and that really does it for me... I would try to stay on 4mg LDN if you can -- I have really noticed a difference from 3 - too early to tell if there is a major effect but I'm thinking there will be (and 3mg was good). I will say it kept me awake last night again till about 2am so hopefully that will subside soon. It comes and goes. I never had that with 3mg, but maybe 3mg wasn't doing much either.. who knows? Guest guest
Hi Marie, Soooooo Happy that it wasn't the LDN, and it is great that you are feeling better. We always blame ms for all our troubles and now we blame ldn...lol. Well, somebody has to take the blame!! Let's all go to Nashville with from CT and strum a few bars...or go to a few bars....whatever!! Guest guest
Hi Phil, I want my nutritionalist to get me on the right supplements cause I don't do good on some minerals. I am allergic to a lot of things and I want him to monitor my blood to make sure that I am not messing myself up. I will see him on the 29th. Dr. Bihari told me that if you are experiencing insomnia then that tells him that the LDN needs to be cut back. Maybe you don't have to go back to 3mg but maybe 4.5 is too high for you. But also some people do have insomnia for about a week at first but then it should go away. Thought you would like to know what he said. I guess that a lot of this is just trial and error until you get it right. Marie ----- Original Message ----- From: " G. Guest guest
I didn't want it to be the LDN because I want it to work. I guess if it was, I would have dealt with it. I'm for going with . When is the bus coming? Guest guest
Sounds like you're taking a full dose 50mg tablet of Naltrexone, which would be a very serious mistake. I have never heard of or read of such a reaction to true LDN. Where are you getting your LDN? Art --- > > I read the post of someone here whose daughter has Crohns and experienced fatigue while taking LDN. > > I will say that when I first started, was taking just half tablet for first week, so 2.25 mgs. The first night I took it, I really felt a kind of ongoing rush from it. Just really nice sensations. I actually felt it going right to my gut. Amazing. A couple of times I caught myself actually starting to grind my teeth a bit and I felt wide awake. I was thinking...oh no!..hope this isn't going to keep me awake. After a reasonably short time I fell asleep and had a very bad dream. Next night, more of the same and another equally bad dream. I'm taking things like being chased my a murderer/rapist. There were more nights with bad dreams, and after a couple of weeks, my sleep started to calm down and while I continued to have some pretty big dreams, not all were bad. Some good, even. > > So, for me, there was a bit of an adjustment period. Now, at 4.5 mgs, I still get the " feel-good feeling " though am sometimes too tired to notice, but am getting better rest and dreams not so memorably crazy. > > I wonder if the daughter might have felt tired because of not getting good sleep at night and/or dream-disturbed sleep even if it was not remembered. I have no idea how long she was on it, or if correct dose, etc. But, my experience was kind of like a flashback to the 70's and being on some sort of an illegal drug (temporarily). ;-) >
