Guest guest
Everyone pls. remember its the summer and the worst month. I think pull through this month and the next, and everyone will be better soon. I don't think we realize how much work LDN has to try and do for us in these hot days. Guest guest
Good point... not to mention RAIN, storms, floods and precipitation in high quantity since like last September! I've never seen 7 day forecasts saying the SAME report every day, Isolated T-storms, Scattered T-storms, Chance of T-storms, and it's rained most every day here in the last few weeks. I am hoping that's why I'm taking up with head/neck spasms, it's just so DAMP! ----- Original Message ----- From: <wordww@...> " linriker " <mylinda63@...> Cc: <low dose naltrexone > Sent: Sunday, August 10, 2003 10:36 Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] THE WEATHER > Everyone pls. remember its the summer and the worst month. Guest guest
I am sure it is. I have to say Summer has never ever been something I can handle. Once I am on LDN if I can even get out of bed in summer I will know its fully working like pushing mercury once did for me. Because except for the time I was in treatment years ago I have not been able to get out of bed in summer at all not a bit. Great ! Guest guest
We have plenty of bears around here. You don't see them often, because they like to steer clear of humans. I wouldn't worry too much about them. It's almost noon here and we still haven't hit 50. I think we are expecting near 50 for a high the next few days. -dz-Janet <jfw4359@...> wrote: Well today we had a cool spell. It was 50 when we got up..Of course we thought is was freezing..LOL..The leaves are so pretty right now here..By Saturday it will be close to the 80"s again..A friend of ours who has a camp right across the road from us told me the other day a black bear went in the camps and tore them up looking for food!! Guest guest
It's been so dry over the last 8 years, Baers have been drifting down to the desert "the Phoenix metro area" looking for food. They are so hungry us humans don't bother them. TerryDave <dhz920@...> wrote: We have plenty of bears around here. You don't see them often, because they like to steer clear of humans. Guest guest
nne and group; No hon, I don't live in the dessert... I live in S.C. ... I am use to Ohio's weather,,, Up north where it snows in the winter and summers are a cool 70 degress... When I use to live in Ohio where i lived for 40 years,, I thought 75 was burning hot haaaaaaa... In South Carolina it will be 89 degree f during the day and 35 degrees f during the night.. thats in the winter time too... thats why I said it feels like a desert.. You know how a desert gets very hot during the day and than at night it freezes haaaaaaaa... I could not take real dessert weather at all.. I can barely take it here in the south.. I am hoping to move back up north as soon as my husband can work and save some money for us to move with.. I hope your having a pain free day..Yes absolutely rest in your favorite chair today.. I am so sorry your hubby had to walk and I know my knees hurt too hon.. I notices my nuckles today have a thickness to them.. not all just a few.. Feels like they are hard like a marble.. Guest guest
We're a hardy bunch but minus 30 is a bit much. You have to wear so many layers in this weather that if you fall down you have to wait for someone to come along and roll you home. That of course would be more complicated with skates or skis attached to your feet so no, not too many people do outdoor sports when it's THIS cold. Thankfully this isn't the norm for us though and we do enjoy skating and skiing for most of the winter. Ottawa is home to the longest natural skateway in the world (7kms, or a little over 4 miles) which is very well kept and fun to skate on......when it's a reasonable temperature that is! Guest guest
I got -40 (F=C for that number) when I was stationed in Germany, lasted a few days below -30. With special clothes it's actually ok if you keep moving. Too much clothes is bad, sweating is the enemy. The big danger is frosbite, fingers, nose, ears. Here today it was in the 70s :-) I love California. Marcos. On Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 8:07 PM, Tracey <traceyincanada@...> wrote: > We're a hardy bunch but minus 30 is a bit much.
