Mark, I have had two clients with the EKG (heart beat) affecting the EEG. Both

were obese, and I was told that anyone with a thick neck can show up with the

EKG in the EEg. With mine, it showed evenly in all frequencies. The whole

thing pulses. Makes it hard to set thresholds, as the pulsing continues no

matter what, but fortunately for me, this same client is also my " Miracle

client " that everything seems to help.

Heart Beat

Dear Group:

Yesterday I did an assessment on someone whose EEG fluctuated like a

heart beat. I looked at his brain waves 2 channel in both animation and

1.9. In animation it appeared that all of the freq. from SMR to Gamma

were pulsing like a heart beat. When I looked at it in 1.9, I swear I

saw a signature that looked exactly like sinus rhythm every second or

so.

Strangely, this was not present with eyes closed, but started

immediately when eyes were open. Anyone ever seen this? What does it

mean?

Mark

Thanks for the feedback. This client is Chinese. Perhaps the genetic

equivalent of both a thick neck and obesity. Maybe I shall write a paper

for Winter Brain.

I thought perhaps I had managed to attach my electrodes to a yet

undiscovered coetaneous vein of some kind.

I got rapid heart beats on 4.5 mg - never noticed those before on 3mg...

they kept me up the first night till 2:30am. Second night on 4.5 I noticed

them a little but they went away and I slept great.

Hi Lin, I noticed that I could hear my heartbeat in my ears for

about a week after starting at 4.5mg, especially the first few

minutes after lying down. I don't know if it was " rapid " or not, but

it was very noticable. It made me a little nervous, but I decided to

wait a few days to see what happened. It went away and has not

returned. Not sure how significant it was, but since it stopped I

didn't notify my doctor about it. Hope that helps. Sue
