Guest guest
Dave Well written. I agree I think everyone should do that. The idea of it being taken in the morning spoils the whole job its meant to do. But I did see it mentioned in one of the forums to someone who was having trouble with the night time dose. Though I can't remember what it really said. But something like " has anyone tried to take it in the morning as a stimulant? " It was an answer to the person who was having trouble at night as a suggestion. No idea now my brain can't think back that far. But your right start with what your meant to do, and ask Dr. Bihari or your neuro if it can be taken in the day time too, if someone feels they may need to. I think that is the best advice I can give the people who were wondering about it. Personally I would just stick to the basic concept that started this whole thing. It works for you in the night as you say and for the reasons you say. ------------------------ 11, 2003, at 23:58 US/Central, wrote: > Great explanation Dave. Guest guest
What I am STILL wondering about regarding this time of 2-4 am is.......is it because that is when you have already fallen asleep and are deeply asleep or would it STILL be that tiime even if you are awake at that hour? [low dose naltrexone] When to take LDN This is from the LDN website: The brief blockade of opioid receptors between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. that is caused by taking LDN at bedtime each night is believed to produce a prolonged up-regulation of vital elements of the immune system by causing an increase in endorphin and enkephalin production. To me that sounds like you should be taking LDN before 2 a.m...
Guest guest
The theory is it has to do with the human body's circadian cycle, " about day " , dictated by the day/night cycle and not sleep schedule. The recommendation is to take it at the same time regardless of sleep schedule, even in the case of those that work the night shift. Personally, I notice a spike in energy between 3:00 am and 3:30 am, if I'm still awake. If I'm still up at 3, there's not much hope of sleeping until at least 4. oothappam wrote: > What I am STILL wondering about regarding this time of 2-4 am > is.......is it because that is when you have already fallen asleep > and are deeply asleep or would it STILL be that tiime even if you are > awake at that hour? > > [low dose naltrexone] When to take LDN > > This is from the LDN website: The brief blockade of opioid > receptors between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. that is caused by taking LDN > at bedtime each night is believed to produce a prolonged > up-regulation of vital elements of the immune system by causing an > increase in endorphin and enkephalin production. > > To me that sounds like you should be taking LDN before 2 a.m... > > > > >
