Guest guest
This is a great group, let's cut down on the unnecessary stuff with good netiquette. Thanks I'm a newbie here. Just wondering why the group is set up so when you respond, it only goes to one person. Every other group I am part of, REPLY means it is sent to all. Here, people hit reply all and I get doubles....one to me personally and one to the group. (wsm311@...) Guest guest
Hi Helen, I am not the group moderator and I don't think your email reached the rest of the group. You can sign off yourself from the low dose naltrexone group at anytime sending an email to low dose naltrexone-unsubscribe as explained at the bottom of each email. Ciao helen <twinpeak@...> wrote: I undestand the importance of LDN aand I have a lot to contribute--( my son's been on it since April 2000) but I must read these at the site-- I also belong to other health boards and am inundated from that also. Please drop me off the daily e-mails-- and I am getting them twice! come up with a better system. Goodshapes board sends one message at the end of the day-- when you open they are all there. delete me now as I asked. with 369 and growing the messages already too many to handle it will be even worse daily! My program crashed last year because it could only handle 4000 mesages. I lost ALL my e-mail, incliuding saved. ----- Original Message ----- From: Max helen ; low dose naltrexone ; Spotlight_ldn Sent: Monday, July 14, 2003 3:00 AM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Please Don't Sign Off Hi Helen, I know...more the group get larger, more email we get! Considering the large number of emails we are already getting today, I guess someone will start soon to think about signing off from the groups. I belong to the low dose naltrexone and Spotlight_ldn groups together and, sometimes, I even receive the same emails twice. Organising or keeping the email inbox tidy is not an easy task and I have not always the time myself to read all the messages or replying to all the messages as I would like to. However, I just checked that there are currently 369 members on the low dose naltrexone group and 91 on the Spotlight_ldn ’s…and this is great! One single email sent to low dose naltrexone reaches 369 people all together, all willing to help others and interested to hear from them. The growing number of the subscribers is a testimonial itself of the validity of the LDN that, at this speed, the medical communities all over the places won’ t be able to ignore for much longer! Keeping my subscription to these groups and being one of these 369 members makes me proud and it’ s the minimum effort I can do to support the LDN treatment that is clearly doing so much for someone I love. Please stick with it and just enjoy seeing more and more emails coming! Regards, Massimo helen <twinpeak@...> wrote: wHEN i SIGNED UP I only wanted the daily digest-- I rechecked and that iswhat I am supposed to get-- instead I am getting a dozen or so at at time--is that the daily digest? Guest guest
could I suggest one thing to cut down on unnecessary email from this group? Please don't " send to all " if the answer to someone's question does not involve the whole group. Just send the response to that person (like the message below could have just been sent to Helen). I also get over 100 email messages per day and don't need to read about how to sign off an email list.... or hear that someone else is getting inundated with email... we all are! This is a great group, let's cut down on the unnecessary stuff with good netiquette.
