Guest guest
Well, I saw him today for my follow-up visit and I think at this point he's probably 90% leaning towards prescribing LDN for me!! I'm so excited. I am not dx with MS yet, and have had only 1 attack, which obviously isn't enough to dx MS, and they only found 1 very faint lesion on my c-spine. So, as far as I am concerned today, my health is excellent. The only symptom I have remaining, is Lhermittes, and it's very subtle too. I think I'm a perfect candidate for LDN and I can't even tell you how happy I am! I'm sure you know though :-) I gave him a little info last time, and then some more today, and mentioned that he could always call Dr. Bihari (where it would cost me lots of $$ to call, he can call for the price of the call!), and he said to let him read the info and he might call Doc B. Isn't this just so exciting? I think that I am the first person locally to present LDN to him. I'm so hoping he actually calls & is able to speak directly to Doctor B. That will be great. Anyhow, he's going to call me back within a week. I told him I know of several pharmacies where I could fax the script or he could fax or whatever. But I would probably choose one that I know from reading here, not try to find a local one. I was thinking I'd go in there and be very let down, b/c he'd say no. Last conversation we had on the phone was he didn't seem too enthused since there were no clinical trials. I volunteered to sign consent forms, etc. I pretty much told him I am determined to get on the medicine. Just wanted to share my enthusiasm with people who will TRULY understand. I don't think most people do. They just can't really. Kathy
Guest guest
Kathy I am so happy for you its amazing its so strange what a little info at the right time seems to do for us. isn't it. its like God brings you exactly what you need when you need it i really am so happy for you i know just how you feel i wish I could just go cold turkey on mine and need three days without it to get LDN but i am seriously thinking about it even if i have to go to hospital for going off mine i can't wait but im seeing more posts before I do that cold turkey which is something he told me not to do but i can't wait listen sometimes these doctors do not talk to each other till after some payment is paid and i am not sure if that is the case here but most of the professors of certain fields my doctor and I sort of pay half and they give us a major discount when a doctor is on the conference and most of the time my doctor and i do it together then tape it for the others. pls see if that can be done too if he couldnt or felt he cant just call on your behalf suggest you do that most professors do most doctors wont just call either never know though God does open door for us so maybe it will work without i am very happy kathy but can't you bug him to go sooner???? maybe you should haha mira On Wednesday, Aug 6, 2003, at 18:28 US/Central, Kathy Young wrote: > Well, I saw him today for my follow-up visit and I think at this > point he's probably 90% leaning towards prescribing LDN for me!! > > I'm so excited. > > I am not dx with MS yet, and have had only 1 attack, which obviously > isn't enough to dx MS, and they only found 1 very faint lesion on my > c-spine.
