Guest guest
I went to Dr. Bihari 2 weeks ago. He explained that 4.5 dosage is ideal for most patients except MS patients. He said that 20% of MS patients need adjustment. It is important to use a reputable pharmacy because dosage should not exceed 4.5 and must be as exact as possible. He told me if I was stiff or felt worse to call himto lessen. Through experience he has found this to be the ideal dose for most. If over or too little it does not work. Also the time taken is crucial even when you travel to other time zone, you must adjust to their time 9pm-3am only. Hope this helps.
Guest guest
I wonder if this means that if you've been taking 3.0 mg. and you should be taking 4.5 that you could potentially get worse because the doseage isn't high enough? -----Original Message-----From: kikisavaris [mailto:noclue915@...]Sent: Tuesday, July 15, 2003 4:29 PMlow dose naltrexone Subject: [low dose naltrexone] LDN DosageI went to Dr. Bihari 2 weeks ago. Guest guest
THANK YOU KIKI....IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE TO ME, THAT PEOPLE WITH MS WOULD HAVE TO ADJUST THEIR DOSEAGE TO FIT.....SINCE ALL OF US MSERS SUFFER WITH DIFFERENT SYMPTOMS AND AT DIFFERENT DEGREES. AND REMEMBER WHEN DR BAHARI STARTED OUT WITH HIS FIRST MS PATIENT, HE GAVE HER 3MG FOR 12 YRS. SO HE MUST HAVE DECIDED 4.5MG WAS GOOD FOR OTHER ILLNESSES, AND NOW SOME PEOPLE WITH MS AS WELL. Guest guest
Hi, I have 4.5 mg LDN but it gives me a headache and want to try 1 mg and build up slowly but when I try to divide the 4.5 into 1 mg with 4 empty capsules they slide out of my hands and end up spilling most of it. I called Wellness Pharmacy about trying to divide it they said it wasn't a good idea because the filler and the LDN weren't evenly divided. Guess I will get some wax paper and dump out several capsules and mix it up and then try to put it back in the empty capsules in about 1 mg. amounts. Any suggestions about how to do this more easily than I am doing it? Thanks, H. Guest guest
You might mix several capsules into a measured amount of distilled water so you would know what strength/dilution you had. Then with a measure dropper, you could take whatever amount you wanted.
