dx'd last fall; big surprise for me as I'm 50 and " too old " for MS. I tore

my ACL in my knee 3 years ago and thought that was the reason for my

walking difficulties. Had surgery to replace it and that's when my

symptoms

really came out (stress to body related?) So I was sent to a neuro and had

MRI scans done as well as the whole battery of other tests. Their

conclusion: MS Primary Progressive.

My other symptoms are numbness in my left toes and fingers (slight) and

occasional night leg twitches. On LDN since April and it seems to be

helping. No other drugs to date.

You were a runner though right Phil...just wondering if that activity which

creates endorphins is what staved off many years of symptoms as it did for

me. Joyce.

right I was a runner AND I did a martial art (Aikido) for 15 years... that

was incredible workouts. So yes, I believe that healthy living, a good

sane attitude and exercise is what kept it at bay for years. Then I had my

knee surgery and basically sat around for 6 months doing nothing... that's

when the demons appeared on the scene.

and I also agreed, and that, among other reasons, is why he's no
