Guest guest
Thank you all for your responce. I will bring up LDN to my Primary Dr. and see about giving it a try. Comparing MS & ALS is like comparing apples & oranges, but hope springs eteranly. Some of you asket how I wasa dx with ALS, well, about 8 months ago, I noticed a weakness in my left knee ( would tend to buckle on me sometimes, I got a knee brace. Left foot started to drag and caused tripping, went to see my doctor, he referred me to a nuro., after several tests (for everything) and a progression to musle spasims in both upper and lower body, and overall weakness, Here I am, a full blown ALS reciepant. ( I get sarcastic ocassionaly). I was dx by 2 very good nuro's and while I am not happy with it, I guess I have to believe them. Sorry to give you guys a bummer but life's a bitch. Guest guest
On a somewhat related note I saw a segment on the news about how all the epidimological type doctors/scientists were worried about new diseases and outbreaks. Mainly because the world has become a much smaller place with people/carriers traversing the globe and bringing with them new " plagues " . on 4/30/2004 12:23 PM, jwwright at jwwright@... wrote: > But it might mean that people who traveled a lot incurred more exposure to > stuff that might be the cause of ALS.
