Guest guest
Dear Bill: Thanks for your response. I'm surprised at you having so much trouble with fatigue and infections at the WBC level you are at. My WBC started up in 1995 and I was positively diagnosed with CLL in February, 1998, when my WBC hit 22.2k. I have never suffered the fatigue you described until the past 6+ months. Illnesses and infections have been nearly non-existent. I had sinus problems frequently (every time the wind blew dust) when living in southeast Arizona but none since I came to Grand Junction, CO. I had a light case of the flu once but knocked it quick with Sambucol, a special black elderberry extract from Israel. I continue to work 50-60 hrs per 5-day week eventho it has been a struggle the last 6+ months. The main cause for my fatigue appears to be the low RBC and hemoglobin won't carry enough oxygen to my body. I have supplemented the oxygen problem some by taking hydrogen peroxide IV's. The IV's certainly helped the severe leg and foot cramps I was having. I hadn't noticed any improvements other than better, deeper sleep since I started taking LDN until this last Saturday (7/5/03). When I got up Saturday morning I noticed that I felt different somehow but couldn't really pin it down. However, by the end of the day I was definitely identifying that I had much more energy and stamina. I worked all day remodeling our guest bathroom and still had energy left. A great feeling!!!!! I still have energy today and am feeling great. I am currently scheduled with my oncologist for this coming Wednesday to get a blood transfusion to boost my RBC and platelets. However, if I'm still feeling this good by then, I'm going to STRONGLY evaluate the need for a transfusion at this time. I'm sure that will " thrill " her closed mind since she's not in favor of me taking LDN anyway. Have a good day and keep in tough.
