Just a note:

A few minutes ago Donna Fox-Keidel was on our local news with a special

guest, Sophie. Sophie is 4 and has pauci-auticular JRA and uveitis. We

met her parents at our AJAO KY meeting this week.

Our local Buehler's grocery store had planned a huge event, KIDSFEST, and

all the proceeds were to benefit AJAO KY. Unfortunately, Buehler's is now

in the throes of bankruptcy proceedings, and the event, scheduled for

today, was cancelled.

Donna got in touch with one of our local TV stations and they put her on

the air, to see if another sponsor might come forward. Keep your fingers

crossed! This was to be our fundraiser to raise funds for our holiday

party.

Slowly, but surely, we are raising awareness! Keep it going!!

Hi Tara,

How wonderful! It's very exciting, to hear about all the goings-on from

around the world and to be re-assured that so many individuals and

families are out there doing their part and are as dedicated and

compassionate about the cause (spreading awareness of juvenile

arthritis). You and will be in our thoughts tomorrow.

Aloha,

Georgina
