Guest guest
After a month on LDN I am noticing a little more strength in my weak hand. Very subtle, I can type alittle longer but that is it. Remember, this LDN is not a cure, anything you get besides stopping progression is a perk. Kiki

Hey, Good Luck - I'm amazed that I saw results after one night in terms of spasticity.. I don't know about strength yet, but if I can get rid of the Zanaflex I was taking for spasticity, I don't doubt that I'll have more strength in my legs Take care, Janis
Guest guest
Hi, all- I have posted here a couple of times but I am more a lurker than a writer, due to time constraints. I have been on LDN since May 23rd of this year. The next day after my first dose I was given the tragic news that my brother had died. So the next few weeks were kind of a blur. I continued to take the LDN (4.5) but I felt my legs get tight within the first few days. I lowered my dose and the weakness subsided. But after a few weeks on 3.0 I started getting new symptoms I never had before. Weakness and numbness in my right hand, I couldn't even bend at the wrist (I already had this on my left). It was really scary and called Bihari. He told me to go back to 4.5. I was worried that the leg problem would come back, but it didn't. Also my hand is now back to normal strength. Maybe another exacerbation was coming on, I'll never know. But I do know the LDN helped me. I think the 3.0 was not enough for me, especially for what I was going thru emotionally. I will stay on 4.5 from now on. I still have numbness from my waist to my toes and my left hand but at least I have my strength back. I heard the numbness takes a long time to subside. I am a mother of 2 small children (18 months, and 4 years) so I have to be able to catch up to them. That was my fear, that my kids would be walking and running, and that I can't. I couldn't even walk fast without tightening up just a couple of months ago. I really thought that was it and I would just go downfall from there. But there before the Grace of God (and I don't mean to offend anyone), I am doing better. I know I am still improving but very subtle. I can't see it from day to day but I can when I compare month to month. My biggest complaint is the bottom of my feet. If only I could find something to take away that pain. I feel like I am walking on the bones and that there is no padding. I have to keep on changing my shoes all day long and some days I just can't stand socks. Anyone know of any cream or anything that might help?? I would pay just about anything if can relieve me. Well, I won't ramble anymore. I hope this helps anyone who is considering taking LDN. Guest guest
Well, one thing I've learned over the last 3 months is that everyone reacts differently to LDN based on their individual situation. My wife noticed the first night I was sleeping more peacefully than as long as she knows me (21+ years), and continues to confirm that when I ask her. After about a week to 10 days my RLS and BU/F went away. My neuro said last month that I still exhibit weakness on my left side, but much better than before. My chiropractors after 11 days noticed it's easier to adjust me and I'm holding the adjustments better. I use Skip's Pharmacy in Florida. http://www.skipspharmacy.com Good luck ----- Original Message ----- From: " feeltherathe " <feeltherathe@...> <low dose naltrexone > Sent: Friday, August 01, 2003 10:09 Subject: [low dose naltrexone] LDN QUESTIONS? > Questions here Has LDN given back strength to anyone? Guest guest
Hi all; maybe you should up your B complex, B-12, and maybe Vitamin E. I know it really helped my husband when we did in fact up the B's! Now is not so grouchy! We need lots of B's & B-12 with this MS stuff. It helps with inflammation also. I just upped my dosage to 4.0 on Fri. I can feel the difference. I am going to go up to regular dose of 4.5 next month. I probably will stay on 4.5 mg for the duration, unless I run into any problems. My right foot, and leg are still numb, weak, and heavy. But I am hoping, with time, that will get better. Good luck with your kids. You will need all the energy you can get! Trust me, I know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Warm regards, Cyd p s Here is a smile for you all! -----Original Message-----From: Braun Doherty [mailto:BD@...] Sent: Friday, August 01, 2003 9:08 AMfeeltheratheCc: low dose naltrexone Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] LDN QUESTIONS?Hi, all- I have posted here a couple of times but I am more a lurker than a writer, due to time constraints.
