Hi all,

Dr M R Lawrence is who I get my supply of LDN from in the UK. To my knowledge he is the only source available to us Brits. If anyone knows of another source in the UK I would be interested, apparently Dr Bob is getting swamped with requests.

I am following his theory of taking a break for a couple of days every few weeks - it makes sense to me to avoid your body becoming too tolerant - I would hate for the good effects to wear off. So far the only difference I have noted is that the 1st day after resuming the LDN I seem to have even more energy than usual - it is almost like a kick start to my system.

I have read somewhere that Dr Bihari does not follow this belief and judging from some of the posts some people notice an immediate decline if they forget to take just one dose - I fortunately do not have this problem.

Dr Bob also suggests starting on 3mg and increasing to 4.5mg after 1 month - again makes sense to me to get your body used to the drug. However, I have been taking LDN since May and have experienced leg stiffness on both dosages - occasionally still get it first thing in the morning but it doesn't last.

It seems to me we all have to find our own level and be grateful for any improvement no matter how large or small - I have noticed subtle changes but nothing dramatic - poor balance is my biggest problem and I am hoping that maybe in time as I get stronger and fitter from my visits to the gym that too will improve. Self-help is definitely the key to kill this living nightmare plus the support from this group - we really do need each other!

May the force be with you!

Hi Sue.

Spoken like a true " Star Warrior " ...lol

I think you are right...we should make this decision for

ourselves....whatever works for us individually.....even Dr Bahari

didn't say that it would kill us to try the intermittent plan, he

just said that he didn't see how it would help.

Thanks and " May the force be with you " also.

I'm doing too good to do the intermittent way. I might try it if I don't feel

as though I'm getting as much benefit as I first did.
