Guest guest
I was going to say, so far so good on LDN, but I have to say so far so GREAT on LDN! I have really been trying not to get too excited about my results so far with LDN, but I can't help it. All I really really want out of the LDN is to do what it's supposed to do and stop the progression of my MS. It's a total bonus that I can achieve this and NOT have to do any more injections, that alone makes me really happy. However, there have been some added perks already. Last tuesday was a normal MS day for me....legs were weak, lots of spasms, and fatigue. I had to get some stuff out of my garden, but it was too far to walk to, I had to use my garden tractor to get back and forth....and it's really not that far from the house. I took my first LDN tuesday night. I thought that on wednesday I was just having one of my rare " good " days. I made several trips to the garden (without the tractor) did lots of weeding and work around the house. (We all know that we have to take advantage of our good days) Thursday was an even better " good " day. I must have made at least 25 trips to the garden (I was watering it) and I made pickles and froze some veggies. To make a long story short, I keep waiting for these " good days " to be over but it's not happening This weekend we are having a family reunion, and it's been very busy. I've done lots of walking, and basically on my feet chasing kids around (not mine lol)and just plain " being normal " ! In these last 5 days I've had 2 very late nights which is a definate no no for me...but it had no effect. This time last weekend we went across the border to go to Minot State Fair. My wheelchair was made good use of, there was no way I could do all that walking. THIS weekend is a much different story....I'm really really hoping to let my wheelchair sit and collect dust. I've never had this many " good days " in a row, and I'm liking it. I did have some leg stiffness about the third day, but it was a good kind of stiffness. It felt like they did when I was working out and exercising..and actually that's what I was doing this time...not really working out, but using those legs a lot more than I have in the last year! I know, I know it's only been 5 days, but it's been an awesome 5 days full of surprises. Oh ya....I'm sleeping like a baby too, I'm sure that helps with the way I'm feeling too. Just had to share! Take Care Kerry ps. I'm taking 3mg right now

Guest guest
HI KERRY, THE REASON I ASKED IS THAT I HAVE A FRIEND IN CANADA, I THINK YOU HAVE TALKED TO HER (CHERYL) AND SHE IS HAVING TROUBLE GETTING LDN THERE....I GAVE HER THE NO, OF PHARMACY IN TORONTO, WHO IS ON LDN SITE LIST. I HOPE IT HELPS HER. THANKS AND KEEP UP THE GOOD LDN VIBES. LOVE, SALLY ----- Original Message ----- From: Kerry Sally Sent: Monday, August 04, 2003 11:43 AM Subject: Re: Day 5 for me as well on LDN Yes Sally, I must agree it IS wonderful!! Yes, I am in Saskatchewan Canada, and I get my ldn out of Regina Saskatchewan. I had to educate the pharmacy a bit but they came through for me. I'm a little worse for wear today, but I'm not surprised. It was a very busy weekend. There were two of us at my family reunion that ended up doing most of the cooking for everyone, so yes, it was a lot of work, but I DID IT!! There is no way that I could have done that a week ago. We have to go back today and take down the tent and do all the clean up, but once we get home, I plan on taking it easy for the rest of the day and rest my body..it deserves a reward after everything I've put it through this weekend! I never ever ever would have been able to do all that I did this weekend without the ldn...wahooooo is all I can say!Take CareKerry> > I was going to say, so far so good on LDN, but I have to say so > far > > so GREAT on LDN!
